Van Wagner Now Aggies’ Exclusive Multimedia Rights Holder

 

LAS CRUCES, N.M. – NM State Athletics is set to begin a new multi-year partnership with Van Wagner, a leading collegiate athletics marketing agency. Effective July 1, Van Wagner became the Aggies’ new, long-term exclusive multimedia rights holder, overseeing the corporate sponsorship program beginning with the 2024-25 academic year, Director of Athletics Mario Moccia announced.

Van Wagner is highly regarded for its unique and holistic sales approach and collaborative and transparent financial model that consistently delivers historic returns for the Universities and Conferences it represents. Specifically, Van Wagner will focus on maximizing the value of corporate sponsorship opportunities across various platforms and multimedia assets, including prominent venue signage, broadcast rights and exposure, digital and social media properties, and engagement and activation. This partnership marks Van Wagner’s seventh MMR agreement with a Conference USA member.

NM State supports 16 Division I intercollegiate teams competing within Conference USA and joins Florida International University, Kennesaw State University, Liberty University, Middle Tennessee State University, Sam Houston State University, and University of Texas at El Paso as Van Wagner partners within the conference.

In addition to making strategic investments aimed at enhancing the overall experience for Aggies’ fans, Van Wagner will collaborate closely with college leadership on naming rights initiatives and work side-by-side to provide guidance to student-athletes in navigating NIL (Name, Image, and Likeness) opportunities within the parameters of NCAA regulations.
